John Deere Defensive Disclosure

While with John Deere I worked as part of a diverse team to brainstorm and develop patentable concepts. This was not only an incredibly fun way to spend an hour on Friday afternoons, it also produced a number of internal invention disclosures and one defensive disclosure, released in August, 2024. This disclosure for wind erosion shows my dedication extends beyond cyber security to developing innovative concepts and going the extra mile for my company's strategic goals.

I use the techniques of secure code review to evaluate a few common vulnerabilities, showing the power of reviewing code to uncover intrinsic problems within an application, and explaining the flow through an application from API to exploit.
